    Terry Patterson is a licensed architect, a professor of architecture at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, and the author of several respected books in the field. He is the author of Illustrated 2000 Building Code Handbook (McGraw-Hill); Frank Lloyd Wright and the Meaning of Materials (Van Nostrand Reinhold); Construction Materials for Architects and Designers (Prentice-Hall); and co-author of Architectural Drawing and Design (Macmillan). He also wrote the Student Workbook and Instructor’s Manual for Van Nostrand Reinhold’s Construction: Principles, Materials, and Methods, 6thed. He is a professional member of Building Officials & Code Administrators International, Inc. and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) certificate.
