The Consequence Book Series will include the work of architects making signicant scientic contributions to international architectural discourse through high-quality monographs, exhibitions, and university theoretical work.

Synopsis

Raoul Bunschoten studierte an der ETH in Zrich, an der Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture in New York und an der Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. 1993 grndete er CHORA, architecture and urbanism. Mit seinem Bro arbeitete er auf dem Gebiet des Urbanismus und der Stadtentwicklung. Er unterrichtete als Gastprofessor an verschiedenen Universitten wie z.B. cole de Beaux Arts in Lyon, an der Columbia University, an der rhus School of Architecture und an der ETH in Zrich. Sein wissenschaftlicher Schwerpunkt liegt in der Urbanismusforschung.

Synopsis

Dieses Buch zeichnet anhand von Situationen und Projekten unterschiedlichsten Ma stabs die Entwicklung eines architektonischen Programms von der ersten zur zweiten Haut nach und ist in 4 Cluster gruppiert: H hle, Land, Horizont und Wind.
